How does someone apply for a job at Christ's Home?
Our website provides a listing of all open positions. Interested persons should begin the process by completing our online application. There is an opportunity to submit a resume during the online application.
In what areas does Christ's Home need donor support?
County support for the disadvantaged children in our care covers 70% of the cost of care. In addition, we provide nearly $1 million annually to support senior adult residents who have outlived their financial resources. Another area of need is ongoing maintenance projects for our facilities.
Why does Christ's Home serve both children and senior adults?
The Bible makes it clear in several places that God cares deeply about widows and orphans, and He calls upon His people to do the same. While our founders began this work in 1903 to serve orphan children in Philadelphia, their heart was to always do something for senior adults as well. This dream was fulfilled when the doors to the retirement community opened in 1923.
What denomination is Christ’s Home?
In continuous operation since 1903, Christ’s Home is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization founded as a non-denominational Christian ministry serving children and senior adults.
