Why does Christ's Home serve both children and senior adults?

The Bible makes it clear in several places that God cares deeply about widows and orphans, and He calls upon His people to do the same. While our founders began this work in 1903 to serve orphan children in Philadelphia, their heart was to always do something for senior adults as well.
