Warminster, Pa, October 29, 2019 – Christ’s Home is hosting a Veterans Day event with Captain David A. Christian, the youngest, most decorated officer of the Vietnam War and a lifelong resident of Bucks County. The event, A Salute to Our Veterans, will take place on Veterans Day, November 11, from 10 to 11 a.m. It is free and open to the community.
During his combat career, Captain Christian discovered over 52 enemy base camps, captured valuable documents, supplies and POWs and routed enemy insurgents. He was medically retired after being seriously injured in combat. Christian is known throughout the country as the “Youngest – Most Decorated Officer of the Vietnam War”. He was nominated for every valor award of the US Military including the Medal of Honor and seven Purple Hearts. He is the author of the first Agent Orange legislation and the legislation on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, the “Law of the Land for Military and Veterans”. David served as a presidential appointee under four US Presidents and as a Senior Advisor to the US Senate on Foreign Relations. He owns and operates multiple domestic and international factories and firms, supporting The Department of Defense.
Christ’s Home’s Director of Community Relations, Paul Baur, is eager to see the community come together for this event.
