Quilting Club Gives Back To Kids At Christ’s Home

Every Monday morning, The Quilting Club is busy at work creating beautiful quilts. Some of their quilts are donated to the disadvantaged kids living at Christ’s Home.

This is a tradition dating back many years. This simple act of kindness gives the kids living here a thoughtful gift they carry with them when they leave Christ’s Home. It also serves as a reminder that they matter and are cared for during a difficult time in their lives. The volunteers of the Quilting Club are proud to help the kids at Christ’s Home in anyway they can.

It’s a blessing when the generations we serve can connect in a meaningful way and pass something down to the next generation. Over the past year, we have participated in several intergenerational activities that bring the two different age groups we serve together. These include a game of bingo played in our Community Center and a Halloween pizza party.
