Senator Maria Collett Attends Doylestown Hospital’s COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic for Bucks County Latino Community at Christ’s Home Community Center

Warminster, Pa, March 11, 2021 – Christ’s Home, Doylestown Hospital and the Ann Silverman Clinic partnered to provide COVID-19 vaccines at Christ’s Home Community Center for the BucksMont Latino community on Wednesday, March 10. The purpose of this vaccination clinic was to make vaccines more readily available for the Latino community, a community that has been receiving reportedly only 11.5% of vaccinations in the U.S., according to the CDC.

State Senator Maria Collett, President and CEO of Doylestown Hospital Jim Brexler, Director of Pharmacy, Christine Roussel, Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic Executive Director Sally Fabian-Oresic and Board Chair, Robert G. Rodenbaugh visited the clinic and met with Christ’s Home CEO, John Bryant, COO, Jim McGovern and Director of Community Relations, George Zauflik who have been pivotal in guiding this new use for the Community Center.

“We count it a privilege to partner with Doylestown Hospital and the Ann Silverman Clinic by providing our Community Center in support of this vital effort to provide the COVID-19 vaccination for the citizens of Bucks County,” Bryant said.

Christ’s Home Community Center first opened its doors for vaccination clinics on January 22 and will continue to keep its doors open to serve the community. Christ’s Home will maintain its rigorous protocols until advised otherwise by the CDC and state and local authorities. This includes the appropriate use of temperature checks, personal protective equipment, ongoing community testing, social distancing and enhanced cleaning.
