State Representative Brian Munroe Celebrates Christ’s Home Resident’s 100th Birthday

On Sunday, November 12, 2023, Christ’s Home resident Victoria celebrated her 100th birthday. State Representative Brian Munroe was in attendance and gave her a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Citation for this milestone.

Victoria’s family and friends were present for her birthday party, which was held in the second floor of Christ’s Home Skille Rehab Center. After eating lunch, they sang “Happy Birthday” to Victoria and mingled. Christ’s Home offers our Independent Living residents with ample opportunities to spend time with their family.

During Victoria’s birthday party, Representative Munroe said this was his first time celebrating an 100th birthday party since he was sworn into office in early 2023.

A fun fact is that Victoria was born just months apart from when we opened our doors 100 years ago in 1923 to serve senior adults.
