State Senator Maria Collett Visits Bucks County Senior Services Healthcare Facility, Christ’s Home

Warminster, Pa, April 8, 2021 – State Senator Maria Collett toured Christ’s Home Senior Services Healthcare Building on Wednesday April 7. Senator Collett toured the skilled nursing facility, skilled-rehab gymnasium and personal care suites. She talked with residents and staff alike to learn more about Christ’s Home and to talk about their firsthand perspective on the challenges facing senior care healthcare facilities. Christ’s Home Senior Services Healthcare Facility is rated 5-star by the Center for Medicare/Medicaid and listed in U.S. News Best Nursing Homes with a High Performing short-term rehabilitation rating. Senator Collett visited Christ’s Home Community Center weeks ago for a vaccination clinic in partnership with Doylestown Hospital and the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic.

Accompanying Senator Collett on the tour will be Christ’s Home CEO John Bryant, COO Jim McGovern, Director of Community Relations George Zauflik, Administrator for Independent Living Vernon Morris, Administrator for Skilling Nursing Karen Alizzi and Administrator for Personal Care Brenda Mast.

“It was a delight to welcome State Senator Maria Collett to our retirement community today for a tour the Healthcare Center. We appreciated her time, her interaction with our staff, and her support for the work we do for senior adults – especially during the trying time of COVID-19.” Bryant said.

Christ’s Home healthcare facility has only private rooms and bathrooms for residents. To date, Christ’s Home Healthcare Building has no deaths due to COVID-19. Christ’s Home will maintain its rigorous protocols until advised otherwise by the CDC and state and local authorities. This includes the appropriate use of temperature checks, personal protective equipment, ongoing community testing, social distancing and enhanced cleaning. Additional information about Christ’s Home can be found at www.christshome.org.
