What types of insurance does Christ’s Home accept?
Christ’s Home accepts Medicare, IBC, and United Healthcare. It does not accept Medicaid.
How often will I receive rehab?
Christ’s Home offers rehab 7 days a week. How much rehab you will receive will depend on your evaluation and your goals.
What will I need to bring with me for my stay?
You will need to bring comfortable clothes that you can move around in easily for rehab, clothing you can layer (short sleeves and sweaters), and
rubber soled shoes for rehab.
Christ’s Home provides personal hygiene products. If you have a preferred brand, you can bring that with you.
Does Christ’s Home have private rooms?
Yes, all of the rooms are private with private bathrooms and private walk-in showers.
When will I be seen by the doctor?
Within 72 hours of admission, you will be seen by a doctor. The physician will be notified as soon as you arrive. All orders are handled through the nursing department and approved by the physician.
How long will I be at Christ's Home?
The length of stay depends on the goals needed for discharge. After a few days you will have a Care Conference, which is an opportunity for the team (nursing, therapies, dietician, social services, resident, and family) to discuss where you are in your stay versus where you need to be for a safe discharge.
What happens when it is time for me to go home?
The social worker will work with you to set up a safe discharge including setting up home care with nursing, therapies, and medical equipment, if needed.
How many beds does Christ’s Home have for rehab?
Christ’s Home has 48 private rooms.
